how to change processor name

First click on start & click on run

then  type regedit and press enter

then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACH INE -->HARDWARE-->DESCRIPTION --> System -->CentralProcesso r --> 0

then you will find ProcessorName at right side

then you have to  double click on processor name and change it with any other processor name  that’s all it’s done enjoy
for example the name showing is Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz u have to change it with              
Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.00GHz or any other which u want
